Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Praxis ("we," "us") is an early-stage, pre-launch prototype. This policy explains what data the site collects, why, where it lives, and how you can have it deleted. If anything here is unclear, email us — see Contact below.
What we collect, tool by tool
Sustainability Quotient (SQ) Prototype
Your dropdown selections and resulting score are stored only in your browser's
localStorage, so the site can show your recent-score trend. This data is never
transmitted to us or to any server. Clearing your browser storage deletes it completely.
Wellness Advisor
The health-concern text you type is processed entirely in your browser to match it
against a local knowledge base. It is never sent to a server and never stored —
not in localStorage, not in a database. It exists only in memory while the page
is open and is gone when you navigate away or reload.
Community Wellness Hub
This is the one part of Praxis with a real backend. If you sign in with Google to create or join a community, we collect and store, via Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore:
- Your name, email address, and profile photo URL, as provided by Google Sign-In
- Communities you create or join, and any messages, events, or posts you submit inside them
- Timestamps of that activity
We request only the minimal Google OAuth scopes needed to identify you (email and basic profile) — never your Google password, contacts, or other Google data. This data is visible to other members of the communities you're in, the same way it would be in any group chat app. We do not sell or share it with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
Theme preference
Your light/dark mode choice is stored in localStorage on your device only.
Where data is stored and for how long
Community Hub data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, in a project we control, for as long as your account or community exists. Everything else described above never leaves your device.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and (for EU/UK visitors) the GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Because this is a small, pre-launch project, the fastest way to exercise any of these rights is email — see below. We'll act on delete requests within a reasonable time and confirm once it's done.
Contact
Questions, deletion requests, or anything else: ghidorah967@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Since Praxis is pre-launch, expect this document to evolve alongside the product.
